Focused on faces and places, Billy Henry’s work lives at the dusty crossroads of subjectivity and objectivity, nonfiction and fiction, creating a supernatural, storytellin’ world that orbits around narrative and energy. He is especially drawn to working with musicians and other artists, and working on the road. His work is a spiritual pursuit. Billy Henry is based in Nashville, Tennessee and is available for hire worldwide.
Photobook projects currently in the works:
Echo Birds: portraits and landscapes made during his 4.5 years living in Los Angeles and Joshua Tree.
The Language of Ghosts: portraits and landscapes made in and around small mining, railroad, and farming communities within Colorado’s mountains and High Plains.
